I first started out writing poetry about age 12. I VERY distinctly remember having a poetry unit in Ms. Dillinger's 6th grade English class, and sort of falling madly in love with it.

Historically, I've kept my poetry to myself, occasionally sharing some here and there for lit mags when I was in undergrad. Several years ago when I was living in West Virginia, I started sharing it with my two besties. Eventually, I got brave enough to put it on Instagram.

Currently, I'm working on self-publishing my first volume. YAY! I'm putting my Instagram here, since I plan to keep sharing snippets of poetry on there.
